Ski to Sea 2007 Photo GalleryGallery Home › Ski to Sea 2007While clouds and rain started the day, the sun gradually burned it all off and we had another sunny party. Our 'It All Ends in Fairhaven' festival is a party with over 30,000 guests on our historic district streets. We pull out the stops this one day a year. Enjoy the photos.![]() A beginning of another charming building on 11th Street - the Young Building shows off its final outline. Ebenal Construction did a great job of moving their construction equipment and fencing back from the street to make room for our party. We thank them. ![]() A quieter scene prevails on the Village Green, with non-profits in all the pergola booths and acoustic music and fun stuff for kids. ![]() This is the one day of the year that Good Earth Pottery has their sale of seconds. Several other merchants also had curbside sales and it all adds to our festive scene. ![]() The race finish - down Harris Avenue at Marine Park. Here the kayaker for the winning all women's Whatcom County team rings the bell to mark her finish. ![]() At Marine Park, the booths mostly focus on the athletes and their equipment. With 432 teams of 7 persons per team, they have a lot of prime customers. ![]() It is a ten minute walk from the race finish line at Marine Park to the festival in the historic district of Fairhaven. ![]() Jaimie of Fun to Shop in Sycamore Square performs her smooth hoola hoop routine to the music of the Rock band. |
