![]() Our 1890s buildings and crafts booths down the center of 11th Street make for great ambience and fun. ![]() The rock bands are a mainstay each year, playing from a stage on McKenzie Avenue. They play all afternoon. ![]() Down on the ground, it was a great day for people watching. This shows 11th Street, which is packed with crafts booths each year. ![]() We gotta show you this. The park and ride shuttle bus from the W Wash University parking lots. A 5 minute ride to the festival. Plan to use them next year - and avoid a long uphill walk back to your car. ![]() Great food, rock bands on stage, beer garden, crafts booths for two solid city blocks - and great weather. This looks over the heart of the food vendors and beer garden. Wow. ![]() They streamed up Harris Avenue and into Historic Fairhaven this afternoon. Over 30,000 came for the Ski to Sea race and, well, It All Ends in Fairhaven. ![]() They were dancing on the Village Green. A caller was talking them through this dance with live music from the stage. ![]() Gordy Tweit and friends. Each year we include a photo of our historian for Fairhaven - and photographer of all our events ![]() The Village Green, with the symphony playing. This is two city blocks from the rock band stage and provides a great choice for everyone at the festival. ![]() Back at Harris and 11th, the heart of old Fairhaven, with the warm afternoon just adding to the ambience. ![]() Besides crafts, there were booths for newspapers - such as the Whatcom Independent above - and for real estate, massage, and othe services. A true festival with lots happening. ![]() Payton was juggling on 11th Street - and he had a very intent audience. This guy was really good - crossing his arms and tossing them high - all sorts of variations. ![]() Street performers love the festival each year. If you are one, or a busker, check back with the festival committee for next year. These guys, above? They are with the Dream Science Circus performing on Harris Avenue. ![]() Back on the Village Green, the Squalicum High School Symphony put on a very lively presentation - playing for encores. Hard to believe they were high schoolers their music was so good. Page 1 of 1 pages
