The Paper Doll Opens May 4th<< Back to archives | Thursday, May 4, 2006
The Paperdoll, a dream come true for owner Shultzie Fay, is opening in Sycamore Square on May 4th during the Fairhaven Girl’s Night Out from 5-8 pm. The shop will offer an ever-changing assortment of accessories and products for home, body, and life created by fresh new designers and independent shops around the globe. It’s designed to be “a whimsical retail trip for your whole being,” according to Shultzie. “With all our independent and handpicked urban goods, The Paperdoll is a fun departure from the predictability of malls and large chains,” she said. Product offerings include laser-cut wood and plastic jewelry from London, 14k bird earrings and rosary strands with wrought iron hands, digital print yoga mats, felt donut pincushions that look good enough to eat, milk and cookie pillows, screen printed panties, handmade ties with embroidered hearts, designer laptop bags, old pulp fiction paperbacks reworked into MP3 holders, bags for every occasion, tea cup candles, and yummy lip balm. Be sure to stop in for some goodies and be sure to say “hi” to the store puppy, Soupy Sails! |
