Wrapping up a good year

Cooperation between the Fairhaven Toy Garden and Paws Awhile gift shop resulted in volunteers gift wrapping Holiday presents.  It was one of many examples of businesses in Fairhaven cooperating on projects, events, promotions and having fun in the historic district.  It was a good year.

Here Pam Went wraps a present as a volunteer for the Humane Society.  Folks gave donations for the wrapping service during the four weeks leading up to Christmas - raising about $1,000.  Awesome.  Pam organized the event with the Toy Garden owners Robin and Tina, with some space by the front window at the toy shop.  I even found Robin wrapping gifts one day.

We thank everyone - merchants and residents - of Fairhaven for a wonderful year.  We bring our hopes and plans to 2012.
