Wall Receives First Visitors

The Vietnam Veterans Traveling Wall was fully assembled early this afternoon. It will be open to the public day and night till Sunday evening. The names of 58,234 men and women killed and missing in Vietnam are listed.

If you have not seen the Wall in Washington, DC or a traveling wall, then you really do want to see this one. It was a first for this photographer and the impact of the Wall is very real. Even after seeing photos and reading about it going back to 1982, it is still a very thought provoking experience to walk along it and look at the names.
