Plus the Fairhaven Toy Garden, kitty corner from Village Books is also open till 6 pm. You can get last minute gifts for all ages from two of Fairhaven’s best shops. Above is the busy scene in Village Books this noon. Chuck Robinson is at the near customer counter and all the other counters had staff at them. A book is one of the best last minute gifts there is - and his staff is ready to help.
And snuggled onto a big bean bag in a comfy corner of the children’s book area of Village Books, we have from left, Gannon, Eric and Becker - with Eric doing the reading. Village Books advertises itself as the bookstore for browsing and they provide a lot of nice quiet places for folks to do just that. Oh - and Paper Dreams - in the same block - is also open till 6 pm - for the card to go with that last minute gift. |
