Village Books now selling eBooks online

Village Books has teamed up with Google eBooks, enabling us to now order eBooks directly from the Village Books website.  What is nice is the prices are the same low prices offered by Google or any other online vendor - and a portion of the profit goes to Village Books.  We can order low cost online and support our locally owned bookstore.  To check it out and order a book, just click on the Village Books ad in the right side of this webpage. 

But, you know, we also enjoy browsing the books at the the store - live and with the good chance of meetings friends.  The above photo was taken today.  Village Books remains one of the most fun stores to shop in all of Whatcom County.  It is cozy and comfortable.  The book selection is great - with all the books by local authors and about local places, history and recreation. 

Now with eBooks available as easily from Village Books as from anyone online, we can have the best of both.
