Open till 6 pm on Christmas Eve, Village Books makes last minute shopping easy with 3 floors of books.  And free gift wrapping at Paper Dreams for any books you buy.  They are open till 8:30 pm on Thursday night, Dec 23.

For selection, the entire top floor is filled with fiction and poetry books.  The middle floor is childrens, non-fiction, history and all those categories.  The bottom Village Green level is cooking, business, crafts, travel, home renovation and sports.

But the best is their selection of local books - by Bellingham authors and about Bellingham and Whatcom County.  Every category is covered by local books and their dedication to local authors goes back over three decades.  You will find the gift book that will be appreciated by your remaining special friends and family.  And they will think you considered carefully and thought of them early.  We invite you to Fairhaven for your last minute shopping.
