It gets serious tomorrow. The new Village Books building construction starts Wednesday. Ebenal General Construction plans to do the same beautiful job they did on the just-completed Fairhaven Square - the old steel skeleton on Harris. The building will provide three floors of books, with a coffee shop overlooking the bay on the upper floor. On top will be two penthouse apartments. Of course, it will have our red brick historic ambience. Village Books will move in next September. |
