Treats in Fairhaven - Monday 3 to 6 pm

Bring the little goblins and princesses and super heroes and ghosts to Fairhaven Monday afternoon from 3pm to 6 pm.  The historic buildings will be looming above the sidewalks - the shop windows are thick with cobwebs, spider webs - and pumpkins.  The business owners will be witches, frankensteins or just themselves - but they will have treats.  Lots of treats.

The pumpkin above is on an outside dining table at the Big Fat Fish restaurant on 12th Street.  Chef Jordan River did the incredible carving of a Dungeness Crab.  He has another of fish and is carving another tonight for placement somewhere in Fairhaven.  Oh, and another is down at Good Earth Pottery on Harris.  The chef has talents with those cooking knives.

Again this year, Gordy Tweit will be taking photos of all the little ones at the Fairhaven Pharmacy.  No charge - as it is a yearly tradition of the pharmacy.  Rob, Marci and the staff will be helping Gordy do this for the 49th year.  Yep, he started in 1963.  Yes, kids from that year are bringing their grand children for photos this year.

Finally - the weather forecast is for clearing skies and the rain stopping over the afternoon.  Might be a perfect crisp Halloween afternoon.
