Transferring Scene to Watercolors

Silvie Tupa and Michael Heath took advantage of our false spring weather to sketch lower Harris Avenue. They will later finish them as watercolor paintings. Their work of mountain and island scenes are in Nature’s Window - the shop at far left in the photo - and will be displayed through May 9. The field is the site for the new complex of 100 condos to be started this spring.

Other shops across the street are, from left, Fairhaven Hardware, Mud In Your Eye Pottery,  The Chimney Sweep, Renaissance Celebration and - on the far right with green awnings - the Bead Bazaar at 10th and Harris.
