Those winning smiles of Bocce champions

The High Rollers of Fairhaven Realty won the 3rd Annual Bowler Hat Bocce Ball Tournament on the Village Green today.  From left are Jay, Ryan, tournament organizer Tim Villhauer presenting the trophy to Debbie and Beau.  Missing is Richard who had a sports injury during the tournament and was replaced in the last games by Jay.  The weather was perfect, and the competition was close throughout the day.  For more photos, click the “Photo Gallery” link in the top left column. 

A great group of players and spectators showed up at 9 am this morning.  Our Village Green grass is a bit bumpy by Bocce Ball standards and this makes for what we call a more “egalitarian” competition.  The setting is perfect for a relaxed tournament amonst friends.  The Bocce equipment can be checked out from Village Books by anyone on any day of the week.  Ask at the downstairs customer counter for full information.
