Today, Sunday, 3 - 6 pm is Treats in Fairhaven

From 3 to 6 pm on Sunday, October 31, is Trick or Treat time on the historic streets of Fairhaven.  Sunday - as October 31 is Halloween.  The merchants of Fairhaven invite all the little goblins and ghosts, pirates and princesses, zombies and - well all the little ones to bring their parents to Fairhaven for treats.  No tricks necessary.  The owners of the shops and restaurants are stocking up on sweet treats.  They are decorating their windows.  They will be ready.  The photo above is from last year’s Trick or Treating.

Gordie Tweit will be taking photos at the Fairhaven Pharmacy starting about 2:30 pm and continuing until done.  Last year that was after 7 pm.  This is a gift to the community by the staff of the Fairhaven Pharmacy and Gordie.  He has been doing it for about 45 years.  Yep - kids who had their photos taken then are now bringing in their grand children.  The photos are free and can be picked up during November at the counter in the Pharmacy.
