The Village Green is perfectly designed for showing movies. Much better than it was during the past 5 years. I have looked very carefully into the supposed problems - none exist. The capacity of the Green is now greater than before, easily accommodating over 1,000 viewers. The off-center screen will allow seating up near the Dan Harris statue - and not hurt viewing from anywhere in the park. Trust me. Come on down for a wonderful time.

Every Saturday at sunset, from this Saturday until September 6, there will be a movie on the Village Green. They start as soon as it is dark enough, which on a sunny day is about 15 minutes after sunset. Donations of $4/person or $10/family are suggested.

This Saturday: ‘A Hard Day’s Night’, with the Beatles in their hilarious caper. Sunset is at 9:17 pm. The Pickford Traveling Show is putting on this movie and will have prizes for the winners of the Beatles theme.
