Summer begins again in the Pacific Northwest

The outside tables of the Colophon Cafe are bathed in sunshine again - instead of the rain of the past two weeks.  This afternoon the temperature is in the normal 70s and the blue skys and warm sunshine make the Pacific Northwest a paradise for the next two months.  We hope.  There are seven restaurants in Fairhaven with outside tables and we invite you down to enjoy the August and September weather.  Normal years it is absolutely perfect - and we have high hopes for this year.  And, yes, that is the statue to Fairhaven founder, Dirty Dan Harris, on the Village Green.  Nice place for outside relaxing.
