Skylark’s Almost Ready to Open

A beautiful wood interior will greet us when Skylark’s restaurant reopens this week. Don White has closed his Hidden Cafe these past three weeks while he completes a huge renovation. Above, Jim constructs the brass railings for the bar - which can be seen beyond him and was constructed from scratch by Jim and other wood crafters.

Don is not sure of the opening day, but we will post it here when he does know - or the day he just opens. The new restaurant will have an entrance on 11th as well as the old entrance on the cobblestone walk. Actually, Skylark’s Hidden Cafe won’t be hidden any longer.
