Remember that Rusty Skeleton?

They took the scaffolding down yesterday and lo - a beautiful new building - named Fairhaven Square - in the 1200 block of Harris Ave. The rusty skeleton of steel girders that stood for 28 years has been transformed. Normally, these construction photos are posted on the Buzz page, but this is special. There are 22 condos on the upper floors and a restaurant and shops on the first floor with basement parking. See the bright yellow banner- that is where the Coppa Bistro restaurant will open this autumn. Ebenal General, the owner and construction company, is to be commended for not only a beautiful building but also for protecting the street trees. That took extra effort, and we in Fairhaven appreciate it.
