Our historic village in winter<< Back to archives | Monday, February 18, 2008)
With snow covered Lookout Mountain looming behind, our little historic district appears a jumble of brick buildings huddled together for a cold winter sunset. Taken from the Cruise Terminal down on Harris Ave this evening. We had a wonderful warm - 50 degrees plus - and sunny day but tonight the temps will again be well below freezing because of the clear skys. In the foreground is the boat storage yard at the Community Boating Center. |
