All 45 of us aboard enjoyed the three-hour drift on Bellingham Bay. There was hardly a breeze - but it was fascinating the entire time. Those lucky ones scheduled for sailing Friday, Saturday and Sunday have a better chance of wind and actual sailing. The tall ship Lady Washington has magic. While the three more sailings are sold out, you can go aboard her while at the dock and spend time exploring her. Free. Every child will love the chance to see her. We adults should make extra effort to help all kids visit her. You can take the city bus right to the Cruise Terminal in Fairhaven. |
