New Fairhaven Bike Building<< Back to archives | Friday, March 14, 2003)
This spring, ground will be broken for a new building to be home to Fairhaven Bike and Mountain Sports. It will be right across the street from their present shop up on 11th. In the rendering above, you can see Eclipse Books to the right of the building. The second floor will be an office rental space with a perfect view of the bay and islands. Congrats to John Hauter who has been running the bike shop for over 30 years now. He started where the Harris Ave Cafe is, next to Tony’s Coffee Shop, back in 1971. |
