New and old Fairhaven architecture is striking<< Back to archives | Friday, August 24, 2007)
The late afternoon sun has brought out the complex patterns in this new building on Mill Street - the Fairhaven Gardens. Completed last year by Ebenal, the building has condos on upper floors and retail on the ground floors - a normal arrangement. But the striking detail and the patterns are something Ebenal has enjoyed giving to all their Fairhaven buildings - now totalling seven. In the bottom right is the A.W. Asian Bistro - on the ground floor at Finnegan Way - our very treasured and only Asian restaurant. If you are wondering where to drive to this weekend, consider Historic Fairhaven. It is a great place to just walk around and then enjoy any of the 20 restaurants. |
