Northwest cool weather, rain and green plants all worked for the annual Native Plants and Backyard Hatitat fair on the Village Green today.  Temperature about 55F, occasional rain and a brisk breeze kept everyone in their practical Northwest cool weather clothes.  There is a growing movement towards planting yards with the beautiful ferns and plants native to our Pacific Northwest.  And along side that movement is the idea of providing cover and food for birds and urban wildlife.  The Fairhaven area is very much a leader in this effort as can be seen in walking the neighborhoods around the historic district.  By the way - this coming week we will have sunshine and temperatures into the 70s.  The Fairhaven forcaster assures you.
