Marrowstone summer music on the Green

Young talented music students from over 20 states and several countries presented the second of two free concerts on the Village Green today.  The Marrowstone Music Festival is in Bellingham for two weeks each summer, with most concerts at the Performing Arts Center at Western Washington University.  But each year they give a couple concerts on the Green.  Today’s weather was cold and cloudy but the one a few days ago was warm and the audience was much larger.  Regardless, the music was just as fine at both.  We appreciate the Marrowstone organization bringing the musicians to Fairhaven.

There are two more concerts this weekend at Western - with tickets still available.  Click the ad in the right column of this page for schedule and ticket information.  You will enjoy the energy and talent of these young people.
