Katie’s Cupcakes is open and bustling

Thats Katie behind the counter - center of the photo - with customers lined up to the door this afternoon.  She opened her cupcake bakery on Tuesday - and the place has been popular each day.  The cupcakes are delicious.  First hand knowledge.  She knows what she is doing. She is obviously a very good baker.  And I paid for my tasting - no freebies here in exchange for a compliment.  We only intended a nice photo with her serving a customer - but the place was hopping and so this photo reflects what has been happening. 

The location - right on Harris Ave and very near the Village Green probably helps.  She also serves coffee, juices and milk.  Next week she starts baking cookies - and that is where this photographer will get hooked.  And she will bake cakes on order.  She said she has two birthday orders already.  We invite you to stop by.  She is open Monday through Saturday, opening at 11 am and closing at 7 pm on Mon-Thur and 9 pm on Friday and Saturday.  1005 Harris Ave - next door to Rebecca’s Flowers.
