Actually, they opened two weeks ago. The long winter is over. Today the staff - including Carl and Karol - were busy planting seeds, caring for tiny seedlings and generally filling several greenhouses with new plants. They are open every day except Sunday and have vegetable and flower plants by the thousands. Yes, Carl and Karol are retired - except in the spring when all expeerienced hands are needed.

Above, Forest hangs new baskets with freshly planted flowers where they will wait for buyers. And spread all along the floor of the greenhouse are starters for local gardeners.

They are open 8 am to 6 pm, Monday thru Friday and 8 am to 5:30 pm on Saturday. We invite you to stop by and get some new plants for your own garden or flower bed. And believe that spring is finally here.
