A smooth coat of plaster was applied to the movie screen on the Village Green this week. When fully dry in a couple weeks, the smooth white plaster will improve the quality of movies. Above, Juan Galindo, who did the work, is removing the edge tape after his final trowling.

Comcast Cable provided the funds for this work. They are also helping sponsor the Saturday evening outdoor movies this summer. We thank them for their community spirit. The first movie is on June 26 and they continue every Saturday, with the last movie on September 11. Movies start just after sunset.
