Historic Fairhaven in Full Holiday Spirits

<< Back to archives | Thursday, December 16, 2010

This Saturday, Dec 18, the horse and carriage rides will again be clip clopping through the historic district from 1 to 4 pm, leaving from the Village Inn on 10th Street.  Free.  Kids love these rides.

Santa is also in the Village Inn, sitting on his huge chair and letting the little ones sit on his knee to better convey their wishes for Christmas.  Also 1 to 4 pm.  And, of course, free.

The Grinch is at the Waldron Building on McKenzie and kids or the whole family can have their picture taken with him for $10.  Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.

The Village Green is decorated with many Christmas trees and lights.  The little ones can go explore between this forest of trees.  We thank Cami of Whimsey Jewelry on 10th Street for making this fun forest happen again this year.

And - all the shops and restaurants have their windows decorated.  With the historic buildings, this makes for a genuine holiday atmosphere.  We invite you to do your Christmas and Holiday shopping in Historic Fairhaven - where every shop and restaurant is locally owed and operated.
