Harvest Dinner on Village Green

Over 200 folks on the Village Green sat down for the Harvest Dinner this Saturday afternoon. In a first, the Green hosted a feast - the 4th annual dinner sponsored by Whatcom Fresh, which promotes locally grown and raised food in our Whatcom County. Yet another use for our Green.

The cooks were very busy in a compact temporary kitchen area. They prepared an eight-course meal, including reef-netted salmon from Lummi Island.



The tables are set. The cooks are busy. The weather looks great. There are tickets and seats at the table still available. An 8-course dinner for 200 is being prepared. Come to the Village Green and enjoy.

This is the fourth annual celebration of local farming, local chefs and local food. Music by two bands. $30 adults, $20 seniors and children under 12. Tickets available at Village Books and at the Dinner. All welcome to this great feast on the Green.
