Halloween for the Little Ones

Erica at Artwood provides treats for the little Ninja turtle and other cool little creatures. The historic streets of Fairhaven were swarming with the little ones - and their parents - this afternoon.

Gordy Tweit
took hundreds of photos of the children - and their parents. Here he changes film in one of his three cameras. He has been taking the photos for over 40 years every Halloween.

Outside the pharmacy, the line of goblins and parents moved slowly inside for photos by Gordy. The photos will be posted in the Fairhaven Pharmacy windows a few days from now and after a few more days for all to view. They will be available for pickup by the parents.

Over at Village Books, Jill was a fairy godmother giving out treats. Over 50 shops, restaurants and businesses provided treats and fun for the kids.

Dreaming of Jeanie at Skylarks, Katie magically gives candies to the children. It was a fun afternoon and ended with a thunderstorm this evening - a rare treat in the Northwest and especially on Halloween.

And we have the map of the locations where treats will be given to the little ghosts and goblins on Halloween. Event coordinator Shannon is having the map printed and it will be available at many places in Fairhaven.

You can also download a PDF file of the map for easy printing on your home computer. Or you can view the map online in an image large enough to read.

The times of the treats are to be convenient for parents to bring little ones to the Distict before sunset.
