Yes, Gordie Tweit will be taking photos again this Halloween of all the little goblins and ghosts.  And it will again be at the Fairhaven Pharmacy, where he was our pharmacist for many decades until his retirement.  Each year since about 1963 he has taken free photos of the little ones, posted them in the pharmacy windows for a week and then made them available for pickup by the kids or parents.  We talked with him today and he said that, yes, he will be doing it again.

All the Fairhaven merchants will be giving out treats from 3 to 6 pm on Sunday afternoon, October 31.  Yes, even though it is a Sunday, that is Halloween.  No other evening will do.  We invite parents from anywhere to bring the little ones to the historic streets for a fun time.

Here we see Gordie surrounded by his historic pharmacy artifacts and memorabilia.  It is a valued experience for many in Fairhaven to have heard him explain the history of any of the things in his personal museum.  He has also been an accurate chronicler of Fairhaven events and history for well over 50 years.  And, you know, he is just the finest fellow.  We all love him.

We are open every day of the week. Stop by and see what we have on display.
