A giant crowd amassed on the Village Green for the Dirty Dan Days pie eating contest—an event sponsored by The Colophon Cafe. Five contestants competed, ranging from the two time pie eating champion of the Bellingham Farmer’s Market to a new (and young!) contestant. With literally hundreds of people looking on, the two time pie eating champion won his first Dirty Dan Days pie eating contest.
