Gestures of Remembrance

Each flower was placed by someone as an act of remembrance and love. This was the scene early this morning. The Wall was being dismantled by volunteers from the Bellingham Coast Guard station. It is on its way to Oak Harbor for display there. And then on to the next city.

Over the weekend in Fairhaven there were dozens of visitors on a constant basis, with five to ten thousand visiting. We thank the Wall sponsors and the many volunteers for making this visit possible. A page of photos will remain a permanent page here at Fairhaven.com.

Visit our Gallery at 901 Harris Avenue. Hundreds of rugs on display.
