At Pacific Chef, a food preparation demonstration was happening early this afternoon. It is one of over a dozen events today in restaurants and food shops all over Fairhaven. Here, Chef Alex is showing his methods for making guacamole. It was one of several free domonstrations that will continue till 9 pm tonight.

Most restaurants are offering very inexpensive tastes of their dishes. Prices vary from $1 to $2 or $3. And the samples I’ve had so far today have been generous.
