Eddie Miller, our Fairhaven US Postal Service mailman for decades, spent his last day on the job today.  Hustling as usual.  The guy is known for his hustle.  Ed has delivered the mail and packages in our historic district for all of his 31 years with the Postal Service.  All business owners appreciate his dedication to doing the job right and getting the mail delivered regardless of the weather.

Picking the mail for Russ, the owner of The Silvery Moon jewelry shop, this morning.  Eddie was - still is - an open, friendly and talkative guy - but the talk was often hurried as he kept moving along at his brisk pace.  Now he and Suzanne will be heading to the Southwest in their class A RV for the winter and explore areas on his Harley.  Counting his military service time, he retires with over 34 years government service and, as you can see, is still fit and ready for a lot of life.  Thanks Ed for the fine service.  And Good Luck in the future.
