Drawing for 24 lucky Schooner cruise tickets

Dee Robinson drew the winning entries from a classic old bowler hat, while Chuck Robinson firmly held the hat.  12 winners got two tickets each for a sail on the 62 foot schooner Spike Africa on Saturday noon.  (photo of Spike just below)  It is all part of the Bellingham Bay Rendezvous this weekend at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal - but we all know it as the Alaska Ferry Terminal.

From 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday there will be big beautiful boats to tour.  Craft vendors, marine paintings, toy boat building for the little ones - a fun day on the Fairhaven waterfront. Click the link on the left to see all the details.  And we’ll see you down there.

The 24 free cruises were sponsored by 13 Fairhaven businesses, with Ken and Brad Imus and their Jacaranda Development donating half.  Fairhaven business owners hope to see more schooners and charter vessels visiting our safe Fair Haven harbor this summer.  We welcome all the beautiful boats that will be visiting tomorrow.

The Silvery Moon has just returned from the World's Largest Gem Show with a huge selection of mohi colored sapphires and new designs. Show your Valentine your love.
