Salmon tossing is a new feature at this year’s festival. Rain jacket and boots were provided to any who wanted to toss salmon and - if successful catches were made by both participants - then a packet of smoked salmon was the prize. Can you spot the salmon being caught in the hands of young fisher woman? Salmon tossing is a Northwest skill and we are sure Dirty Dan would have approved. “Wild Catch”, a local salmon distributor provided the salmon for tossing and also the prizes. |
