She is off to Alaska tomorrow on the ferry. Taimi Gorman shoots some publicity photos of Dale McKinnon before she leaves. Dale will row from Ketchikan to Skagway - thus complementing her row last year from Ketchikan to Fairhaven. She will have rowed the entire inside passage if she is successful this summer.

Benefiting troubled youth is Dale’s inspiration. All pledges for her rowing will go to Northwest Youth Services, a local non-profit that helps kids. It is a very good cause.

Dale lives in Fairhaven and organized the rowing events for Dirty Dan Days in April. We will bring you updates on her trip as we get them. She expects the row to take five weeks. Taimi is a publicist par excellence in Fairhaven.
