She rowed 778 miles from Ketchikan, Alaska, to Fairhaven in an 8-week journey. Fairhaven resident 59-year-old Dale McKinnon did it as a personal challenge and for the kids - to help raise funds for Northwest Youth Services. Two teenagers who have benefited from their program, Lance and Brenda, welcomed Dale at the Fairhaven Boatworks dock this morning at 11 am.
