Coast Guard ships in Fairhaven

New to our waterfront are these two 87-foot-long Coastal Patrol Boats or Coast Guard Cutters to the rest of us. They are permanently berthed at a new floating dock put in by the Port of Bellingham just last month. They are named the ‘Terrapin’ and ‘Sea Lion’. While many of us were worried they might disrupt our waterfront, they instead do not take up too much space and their crews have been welcomed into our community. Welcome!

Visit our Gallery at 901 Harris Avenue. Hundreds of rugs on display.
