Bowler Hat Society Formal Portrait

<< Back to archives | Thursday, July 1, 2004

Rodrigo del Pozo, eminent Fairhaven photographer high on the ladder, takes the formal portrait of the Fairhaven Bowler Hat Society this evening on the Village Green. With the bronze statue of Fairhaven founder Dirty Dan Harris lost in the middle of this photo, 79 members of the 200+ society squint into the bight evening sun.

The society is actually an informal group instigated by Brian Griffin, a retired fellow who keeps coming up with fun community ideas. If you have a bowler hat, then you are a member. Yep - they are all wearing their bowlers. As is Dan Harris.

We are open every day of the week. Stop by and see what we have on display.
