Bound for Bellingham

The Lady Washington sails Bellingham Bay. The Friday evening cruise was spectacular as the tall ship sailed across Bellingham Bay and back, right up to the hills of town before coming about. The skipper showed great sailing skill as he took the paying guests on a great sail around the Bay. Winds were 15 mph with nice gusts to 20, perfect for this ship to show her heels.

A perfect place to watch the ship sailing is Boulevard Park. She will be out sailing on Saturday from 3 to 6 pm and Sunday from 2 to 5 pm. She departs Bellingham Sunday evening or Monday morning
