Down on Harris, between 8th and 9th Streets, a new three building complex of condos, townhouses and first floor commercial shops is being planned. Ted Mischaikov has submitted these plans to Bellingham Planning for approval. Above is the view of the buildings as seen along Harris Avenue. The taller one is only 8 floors - much lower than an earlier plan with 10. This is Ted’s fourth submission for this project as he tries to respect the concerns of residents and other commercial property owners. The style combines the red brick of Fairhaven historic buildings with contemporary lines and windows. |
