Auctions all week long for Cambodian Schools

This extremely comfortable chair can be yours - if you bid highest during this week long auction to benefit Cambodian schools.  Yes, you have seen this chair in Village Books and now it is part of the auction.  Next time you are in the store, sit down and test its comforts as Laura is doing here.  It was made by Ted Scherrer, a local fine furniture maker.  Over 50 shops and businesses in Fairhaven are participating in the auction.  The proceeds go to help build another school.  So far, American efforts have built over 300 schools, with two built by Bellingham efforts.  So - check the shops between now and close of the auction on Sunday.

You can download an easy to print list of all the Fairhaven businesses that have items up for auction.  We encourage you to support this very worthwhile effort.  Thanks.
