10 am to 4 pm on the Village Green, the clearance sale by shops in Fairhaven takes place. “Celebrate Your Independents” is the slogan to draw attention to the total lack of any chain stores in Fairhaven. Not a one. The Pergola around the Green will have great deals on books, shoes, clothes and all sorts of other merchandise. There will be live music on the stage. Southside News will be selling chocolates at discount prices. The weather is sunny - and will be all day. (The Bellingham Herald forcast is wrong.) The weather forcast is for 70 degrees by afternoon.
