Amtrak to Fairhaven every morning

Every morning at 9:45, people arrive in Fairhaven via Amtrak.  Just 4 short blocks from the Historic District.  The train leaves Seattle at 7:40 am for the two hour trip that includes travel along the Chuckanut shoreline with the views of the San Juan Islands and including several tunnels.  For a fun weekend, many folks even bring a bicycle in the baggage car for a weekend riding our scenic roads.

After a five minute stop here, the train continues on to Vancouver, Canada.  There are two northbound to Vancouver and two southbound to Seattle trains each day - seven days a week.  What is more, across the street from the Amtrak station is the Cruise Terminal with ferries to the San Juan Islands and the Alaska Ferry to - well, way north.  Do you live in Seattle or Vancouver?  Consider a vacation from driving and catch the Amtrak to Historic Fairhaven for a great getaway.
