A good day to be inside one of those warm Fairhaven coffee shops enjoying a hot chocolate or your favorite warm drink. Five inches of snow is predicted for later today. Maybe tomrrow’s photo will be a winter wonderland. We are getting our late January freeze a bit early this year. The Fairhaven Pharmacy, the maroon building on the right, has been operating from that corner building for 75 years, and in business for 115 years, making it our oldest business. The bricks down the center of Harris Avenue are left over from the trolley days when tracks went down the street to shops by the waterfront. |
