A beautiful 9.3-mile run along the Bellingham Bay waterfront - from Fairhaven to Bellingham’s Zuanich Park and back - was a huge success today. Would you believe that 641 runners participated and 546 of them finished the race? The race and walk was sponsored by Fairhaven Runners, with Steve and Tara deserving credit for this first-time race. Above, Mindy crosses the finish line, with the high tech chip timing system in the carpets. One hour and 16 minutes plus is an outstanding time for Mindy, who is from Bow. |
