Get involved in your community! The upcoming meetings provide the opportunity for City advisory staff to gain additional input on specific aspects of the Fairhaven Planning & Urban Village draft documents. Be sure to review the draft documents, respond with comments, and attend the public meetings as you are able.
Prior meetings:
• Historic Preservation Commission: Introduction of Design Standards and regulations - Tuesday, January 10, 2012, 4:00 p.m., Council Chambers
• Historic Preservation Commission: Feedback meeting on Design Standards and regulations, Tuesday, January 24, 2012, 7:00 p.m., City Council Chambers
• Transportation Commission: Transportation and Parking Chapters and parking regulations, Tuesday, February 7, 2012, 6-8 p.m., Council Chambers
UPCOMING MEETINGS
• An additional Public Input Session will be held Thursday, February16th, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Council Chambers. This session will be recorded, and provides an opportunity for stakeholders to give feedback on the Draft Neighborhood and Urban Village Plan, Draft Design Standards, Draft Development Regulations, and Draft Design Review Process posted on the City website for public review on December 21st, 2011. Staff will provide a brief overview of the various plans and proposals, with the remainder of the meeting spent listening to the public and answering questions.
• MNAC meeting March 21st, 6:30 p.m., Mayor’s Board Room. An overview of the draft planning documents will be presented. MNAC will be asked for comment and a letter of recommendation.
• Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 19th, 7:00 p.m., Council Chambers. Final draft documents will be made available to the public on the City website no less than 1 month prior to the hearing. Staff will provide an overview of significant changes between the preliminary draft issued December 21st and the final draft.
