The race starts in the park and immediately exits on Chuckanut Drive heading left (south). The largest hill, about 100 feet, occurs in the first 1/2 mile. The course continues on Chuckanut Drive, going back downhill then turns left on Old Samish Hwy for a short time before turning left onto the Interurban Trail and back to the park. One loop is the 5k; 2 loops is the 10k. Both really nice runs-- and frosty, if you're lucky! Registration is from 9- 9:45am. A free Kids 1/4 mile kids race starts at 9:45.
