Events: Saturday evenings on the Village Green during the summer. Events start with live music at the times listed and are followed by movies at dusk.

Seating: Blankets and very low back lawn chairs are permitted on the grass. All other lawn chairs are permitted on the brick areas only.

Food & Beverage: The Child Development Center from WWU sells popcorn, soda and candy at the events. Additional food may be available for purchase and outside food and beverages are permitted.

Tonight's outdoor cinema will be extra special, with a pre-film guest appearance by award-winning and bestselling novelist, poet and film-maker SHERMAN ALEXIE, presented by Village Books as part of their Chuckanut Radio Hour.

* This is a ticketed event. with tickets available at Village Books and, if any remain, at the event. The cost of each ticket is $6 and includes the movie showing for the evening.
* No seating can be guaranteed after 6:15pm when ticket sales for the Chuckanut Radio Hour begin.
* Lawn chairs will only be allowed on the brick area and space is limited.

National Book Award winner Sherman Alexie is Village Books' guest for the August Chuckanut Radio Hour, which is normally held and recorded downtown at the Museum of Radio but will be at the Fairhaven Village Green in advance of the film showing of Alexie's THE BUSINESS OF FANCYDANCING. Sherman Alexie has won numerous awards for his poetry and fiction, and is the only four-time winner of the World Poetry Bout.

The Business of Fancydancing (2002, 103 min--adult themes) Movie is based on the book by Coeur d'Alene/Spokane Indian Sherman Alexie, who now lives in Seattle.
